About

Foresight32 Art Gallery was established in September 1991 under the name Baladna Art Gallery, it was the first private and independent art gallery to exhibit art work in Jordan. It started off with a small space and was soon transformed into a cultural and artistic mold that played several roles, like organizing festivals and art forums, hosting cultural dialogue sessions and building artistic and cultural bridges of communication with the rest of the world.

In 1996, the gallery moved locations to a bigger space that allowed holding bigger exhibitions and seminars and workshops in addition to producing silver jewelry.

Afterwards changed location once again to an old villa which had the 60s style, it was renovated and renewed to become a bigger art gallery for holding local and regional plastic art exhibitions, in addition to holding various artistic activities like seminars, cultural workshops and training courses.

During the past eighteen years, Foresight Art Center was dedicated to the message it has held throughout the years as an "Arab Art Gallery" and a "Bridge of creative communication with the world".

In addition to the exhibitions held for well known Jordanian artists and adopting many promising talents, it has attracted tens of important artists from the Arab World including 14 countries and the world like Sculptor Robert Smith from the USA, Lennett Tin Chroden from South Africa, and Photographer Gloria Lin from the USA in addition to hosting an exhibition that joined 3 Pakistani Artists, another for Bulgarian Graphic Designers and a caricature exhibition for Brazilian Artists Carlos Lattouf.

As a major supporter of Jordanian plastic art, a demonstration entitled: "An Artist and a Painting" was held in June 1992; where 50 Jordanian artists participated. Later-in the mid 90s- a larger demonstration was organized for Jordanian women (artists) entitled "the world through women's eyes"; where twenty five Jordanian artists participated from Jordan and other counties.

Foresight Art Center held tens of individual and collective exhibitions for Jordanian Artists including:

• The first Forum for Arab Plastic Artists (Women) with the participation of 11 Arab Countries and holding workshops to introduce their work.

• The first and second Forums for Arab Sculptors where 9 Arab countries participated with the cooperation of Jerash Festival for culture and Art.
• Finally, a collective exhibition for Jordanian art was held in Sharqa Museum.
