Fateh Al Modarres

- Born in Aleppo/ Syria. 1922
- Studied painting in Rome Fine Art Academy, in 1960.
- The "Ecole Nationale Superieure des Art" in Paris in 1972.
- Occupied the position of the Head of the Fine Arts Syndicate in Damascus.
- Worked as professor in the Fine Arts Faculty in Damascus until 1993.
- He participated in many individual and collective art exhibitions in Syria and other countries.
- He established a solo exhibitions in foresight art center (Previously known as Baladna), Amman, Jordan in the years 1992, 1997 and 1999.
- He awarded many international and local prizes.
- Had several poetic and short stories publications.
- His works are exhibited in the Syrian Ministry of Culture/ National Museum in Damascus/ Dummar Museum/ Presidential Palace and in private collections.
- Passed away in Damascus. 1999
