- Director General of the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, 2002 up to date.
- Professor of Painting in the Faculty of Art and Design, University of Jordan 2004 up to date.
- Professor and Head of department of Interior design at the Faculty of Architecture and Arts, University of Petra 1996- 2002
- Elected president of the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association, 1995- 1999

- The commander of the Order of Civil Merit awarded by Spanish King Juan Carlos. 2004
- National Award fro excellence in art, Amman- Jordan 1995
